Non-fiction Museum
Hopefully your student has been telling you about our museum! We read a nonfiction text, studied key words, and made notes about the top 5 facts we wanted to share. Yesterday we made posters to entice our visitors to stop by and learn about our topic.
Today we were joined by KP and KR! 2A loved sharing our topics with these kindergarten cuties!

Blueprints
Last week one of the spelling lists had the word blueprint as a weekly test word. Henry was nice enough to bring in actual blueprints and taught the class how they are used in construction. Special thank you to Henry and his Dad for sharing with us!
Affects of Water on Land Experiments
The class enjoyed creating a 'cave in a cup' last week. We also used "river tubes" to watch how fast or slow water can affect sediment in rivers. In addition we did some wave strength and erosion experiments.
