SOOOOO much fun in 1st grade last week! Very special thank you to all who were able to make purchases from The Button Factory!

Today we found out which job we were hired to do and we got right to work! Tomorrow we'll continue to work in our jobs in preparation for the grand opening of The Button Factory on Friday!

This past Monday we enjoyed our guest teacher, Mr. Bahr. He was here as part of the Junior Achievement program sponsored by Bayer (formerly Monsanto.) He sent us home with many goodies. Thank you to Bayer for sponsoring this fun day!

Meet Hieran Andeberhan

Last week we had the opportunity to meet Hieran Andeberhan. She is a student at Ladue Horton Watkins High School. As part of African American History Month students with outstanding academic records were chose to be interviewed by Reed students. Hieran's outstanding grades and involvement at the high school made her a perfect candidate. The kids loved meeting our new friend!
