Earth Woman Visits

A VERY special thank you to RSA for sponsoring Arts Partners in our schools. This funding allows for the AMAZING Diane Moran, aka Earth Woman, to be in our classrooms. We learned fascinating stories and facts about Native Americans under her direction this week. We learned games and saw new animals too!

So much fun this week!

We had so many fun events this week! Thank you to Dr. Lee, Mrs. Cox and Mrs. Buck for joining us on our field trip to see "Dragons Love Tacos" and other stories. Thanks to Dr. Lee for sharing her photos with us!

This week we also had a visit from writer Chris Harris. The class loved hearing poems from his book, "I'm Just No Good at Rhyming."

We also enjoyed "Dress Like Your Hero" day. Our only participant was Thomas who dressed like his older brother. Now that's true love!

Last, Friday we enjoyed watching the Reed Passport Parade. Thomas represented Germany, Adam represented China. Dory represented Scotland and Maggie represented Scotland and Ireland.
