Non-Fiction Experts

This unit in Reader's Workshop we have been studying non-fiction texts. Today we were able to teacher kindergarten students in all 4 classes about our topics. The kids were able to go back to see their kindergarten teachers and do some teaching of their own.

Buffalo Activity

This week we learned more about how the Plains Native Americans used all the parts of the buffalo. We completed a craft and did a fun "share the pen" activity. The kids each added their own fact about how the buffalo was used to our class writing piece. Fun word of the week:
